This is a bit late, but I wanted to answer anyway for future reference. There is a great site for help with just this type of thing called OneLook - www.onelook.com. You can do all types of fuzzy searches, etc. I use it almost daily.

I need help. I think it is a Latin term that sounds like "on-per-sonte."
Here is the sentence: "She has a complex history of right lower quadrant and right posterior loin pain, having undergone a recent laparoscopy and (insert Latin phrase here) appendectomy by..."
Sort of sounds like en pursuante. So immediately after or along with the laparoscopy the patient had an appendectomy to pursuant to...I just can't seem to get it and I know I've transcribed it before.
Any suggestions?
thank you!
