Welcome all knitters and crafters. We decided that with all the crafting, in particular knitting, going on in our lives, we would create a forum where we could discuss our latest OTN projects, UFOs, and get or give help. I hope that this forum will be a fun place for novices through experienced crafters.

More knitters! Who knew? I have so much stuff OTN that I really should get off the computer and go knit: 3 scarves, a sweater, a shrug, and several baby things. And I own several working knitting machines.

Hello all. I may not be a knitter but I crochet a little and do a lot of counted cross-stitch. I would imagine we are all pretty crafty.

I always have multiple cross-stitch projects going at once. I have some knitting going too, but I doubt it will ever get finished as my cross-stitching keeps me busy enough. I like to think I'm a bit of an artist as well.

My passion is cross stitch. I like the complicated cross stitch such as the patterns by Paula Vaughn. I also enjoy the Donna Dewberry method of painting. I also have some gourds that I am working with to make bird house, bowls, or whatever pops into my mind. I have an interest in heirloom sewing such as christening bonnets and dresses. I've made a couple crazy patch quilts. When my god-daughter was born, I made her one with her picture transferred to the center of the material in a heart shape with the crazy patches built around that. For the last 3 years, however, medical transcription has taken over my life. I am always reading articles about it, researching terms, and thinking of ways to make it easier to keep the information pulled together at my fingertips.
