i'm looking to earn some extra money from home. does anyone know if I would have to go through an entire program to be able to get a job in MT? i'm hoping to be able to defer an entire program as i already have the training in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. i just need instruction in the equipment use and page set up any information would be helpful

With your prior training, you may be able to get a break in the medical transcription field. But from what I have heard, employers usually look for trained and certified medical transcriptionists to do that job for them. It won’t hurt to enroll yourself into an online medical transcriptionist course that prepares you for various licensing examinations. Such courses are usually short in duration and quite affordable. If you find the right school, you may also get flexi payment options to ease the financial burden on you.
