I am so glad to see a place for us paper crafters! I actually do card making and scrapbooking along with many other crafts.
What scrapbook are you currently working on?
I am still trying to catch up on years of time for my 3 sons (hehe).
I also want to make one for my to-be-niece who should join us in the world in late May early June.

I am working on several scrapbooks. I have one for each daughter for their school daze. I want to do one of their first 5 years from birth. I am working on a heritage album for my FIL. I also want to do one from Hanukkah this past year. I keep myself rather busy. I just ordered a new die cut machine called the Klic-N-Kut, I cant wait to get it. You can see what it looks like on www.scrapbookdiecutter.com. I am getting the elements machine, unless I change my mind before thursday. I ordered it back in Jan at a much lower price, so I can still get the 13" one if I want it. I am excited about this board and hope that more join us!!!

I have a scrapbook box of "good intentions". My passion is beading jewelry. I even learned how to make my own beads using polymer clay and PMC clay. However, there is no forum on this board for that, yet. Meanwhile, I can just update you on how large the pile of pictures TO do something with grows. Like computers, the technology for scrapbooking changes so fast it is hard to keep up with it all.

I would love to see some of your layouts (LO) of your trip to France. I know we can insert pictures into these posts, but they have to be stored on a website first. I use photobucket to store mine. You can sign up for a free account and store your LOs there and then link to them and they will show up in the posts. Feel free to share!!! Sue

I was a scrapbook collector for over 10 years before I started actually scrapbooking. I still need to go back and do baby books. I started with school daze albums first, just to stay kind of current. That is how we got this scrapbook board, I asked for it. . Maybe you can even be the moderator for it too!!!

I do have a photobucket account, I use it ALL the time. When I'm not going 10 directions at once, I'll take some photos and upload them!

Thanks Wynter, I look forward to seeing your LO's. If I can ever get some organization in my scraproom, i will also upload some LO's for everyone to see. I also dont mind if anyone scraplifts from my LOs. If you upload pics for us to see, and you dont want us to scraplift, please tell us in advance. Thanks.

Scraplift, that is an interesting term, kinda made me chuckle. I hadn't heard it before, but knew exactly what you meant.
I'll admit I have trouble coming up with my own arrangement and design of LOs so I tend to borrow elements and ideas from others, which I guess is the point of all those expensive books and magazines, right!? Though it worries me a bit when I'm trying to make a business out of creating scrapbooks for others.
I do have one book I particularly love because it breaks offers ideas on elements of a page, not just LO. Its My Creative Companion by Becky Higgins. I think she is my favorite perfessional scrapbooker.

Love the term "Scraplift"...another is CASE (Copy And Steal/Share Everything). I have been a collector for many years. I haven't done many pages lately, but have been involved in a lot of swaps of layouts and cards. Speaking of such, I have 2 due in the next month. I better get going on that! Great to be 'here'! Hi everyone :-)

I am going to Joann's today to look for a starter kit. I may have to ask Rennie to create a beading board, but not until I get better at it, LOL.
