Anyone have any tips for photographing layouts?
My primary trouble is with lighting like shadows, reflections, etc.
Ideally, I'd like to scan them, but "tabloid" scanners are expensive!

I just take lots of pictures, making changes to my lighting as I go, until I get a good shot. Of course if it is 8.5x11 or smaller, I just scan it. I am saving $$$ for a 12x12 scanner and printer.

I did discover that an A4 scanner is more economical and is about 11-1/2 x 14 I think (its been a while since I researched them) but they are a LOT less expensive than 12x12 tabloid scanners.
We went to Kinkos to see about scanning and they wanted $5 for a 12x12, CRAZY!

That is ridiculous. I might have to check out the A4 printer then. I think I want the 12x12 scanner more than I want the printer.
