I was wondering if anyone else has completed their Medical Transcription Training through Techskills and also paid to take the CMT exam, pass it, and receive their CMT Credential?
Techskills claimed to be the ONLY school where a student could receive the CMT Credential immediately after completing their course and passing the CMT exam. This CMT exam is taken at the Techskills location but is actually administered through The National Healthcareer Association. Unfortunately, this association and its CMT credential are not recognized by the healthcare industry. Techskills has since discontinued using and promoting the NHA, but that doesn't help all the students who paid for expensive training to find out they wasted alot of time and money. If you or anyone you know has had the same experience with Techskills. please contact me.

Nope, I've never heard of the school, and their claim is completely bogus.
The CMT credential is only given by AAMT, but ugh, the AAMT has changed their name now. Someone please post back with the new AAMT name, okay?
